International Experience

The firm has a great deal of international experience ranging from non-profit work to private-for-profit companies. Some of our largest clients are international companies based outside the US. Linkenheimer has been able to offer them the experience and knowledge necessary to start operations in the US and to provide them the financial management and internal controls needed to succeed. Some of our largest international clients include White Glo and Ted Baker of London. Firm partners and staff have traveled to Sydney, Toronto, London and Vancouver for face-to-face business meetings. As a firm we never underestimate the importance of a handshake.

John is Past President of the California Group of Accounting Firms, Past President of a local Rotary Club, Chairman of the Board of Elders at St. Mark Lutheran Church, and Treasurer of the Haiti Lutheran Ministry and Mission Fund. Currently he serves on the Board of Directors for Alliott Group. He has traveled to Haiti numerous times and has worked on funding and the administration of grants, grant disbursements and other funds (close to $1 million USD). His experience includes working with private and non-profit organizations, setting up accounting systems, internal controls, and financial management systems. In addition to work in Haiti, John has also done business in Nicaragua, Guatemala and other Central American countries.
