Newsflash
| Fraud Alert! Several of our clients, have received solicitation letters which appear to be on official State of California letterhead advising California LLCs, corporations and limited partnerships of their obligation to file Information Statements with the Secretary of State's Office, and requesting an fee of $195.00, for filing the Information Statement. The Secretary of State's filing fee for the Information Statement is actualy only $20.00. The Secretary of State has issued a Customer Alert regarding these misleading solicitations: In short, you can simply file your Information Statements directly with the Secretary of State's Office on your own. When submitting Information Statements, we recommend including at least one copy and a self-addressed stamped envelope so you can maintain a file-endorsed copy for your records. If you have any questions regarding these solicitation letters, or your Information Statements, please contact us. |
