FIRM HISTORY

Since our first year of business in 1932, our firm has accepted the changes that are the outgrowth of adopting new technologies. These changes have kept us well equipped and knowledgeable. But what hasn't changed at Linkenheimer LLP CPAs & Advisors is our core commitment to long-term relationships with our clients, to working side-by-side with them to help make their businesses succeed in a complex world of change, increasing demands and more competition than ever. We recognize that supporting this success depends on our ability to identify problems and provide value-added solutions. Thanks to our clients' long-lasting trust, we have grown to be one of the North Bay's largest public accounting firms.

John Jones garners two prestigious awards

John Jones was recently named SSU's Alumni of the Year 2009/10 for the School of Business and Economics and was given the Rotary District 5130 Meritorious International Service Award for his efforts in bringing medical assistance to Nicaragua

06.08.2010 – John Jones was recently named Sonoma State University's Alumni of the Year 2009/10 for the School of Business and Economics and was given the Rotary District 5130 (44 clubs in the district) Meritorious International Service Award for his efforts in bringing medical assistance to Nicaragua and other developing countries.

John's most recent trip occurred on January 31st, 2010. John led 17 members and friends of the Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Club to the San Lorenzo region of Nicaragua, where they provided dental and eye care services to the people in need there.

This was John Jones (managing partner of Linkenheimer LLP CPA's & Advisors) seventeenth international humanitarian trip since 1995. The eye care team examined over 1,400 people and provided prescription eye glasses, sunglasses and screening for cataracts and pterigiums. The dental team focused on extractions, which is significant in rural Nicaragua. A similar mission to Nicaragua two years ago resulted in over 240 extractions. The team from Santa Rosa worked successfully with members of the Managua-Tiscapa Rotary Club.

Since 1995, John has led international humanitarian projects to Nicaragua, the Mayan villages in Mexico, Samoa, Guatemala , Haiti and Vietnam.
