Cecil, is the firm’s pension and profit sharing plan specialist. He works with many of the firm’s clients on employee benefits planning. He emphasizes tax planning and compliance for small business, estates and trusts. Cecil joined Linkenheimer in 1964 after graduation from SDSU with a major in accounting. He has completed many graduate tax courses at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. In 1969 Cecil became a partner in the firm. From 1976 – 1983, he served on a statewide committee for the California Society of CPAs on insurance coverages for accountants, including two years as chairman. Community- Treasurer for Santa Rosa Rotary.
Kerri joined Linkenheimer in November 2014 as a manager with 10 years of public accounting experience. She graduated in 2004 from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Kerri has experience in tax, audit and accounting services for both for profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of industries. She enjoys working with clients in the construction and real estate industries, and closely held businesses, large groups of related entities and individuals on their tax and accounting needs. Kerri is a member of the AICPA and the Cal Society of CPA’s. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Andy and children, Claire and Dylan. Community – Treasurer for Alexander Valley Girl Scouts Troop #10085, active parent volunteer at Alexander Valley School.
Steve is a Senior Litigation Services and Audit Manager. He is also a trained and experienced mediator in workplace conflicts, family owned businesses and succession planning. Steve’s expertise in Litigation Services includes: forensic accounting for business and personal loss analysis, and fraud investigations. When not counting beans, Steve regularly hikes in the beautiful hills of Sonoma County with his wife Lori, and is an avid mountain climber. Community- Active as a regular speaker to high school ‘Life Skills’ classrooms.
Judy joined Linkenheimer in January 2013. She graduated from Sonoma State University in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Working in public accounting since late 2005, she has gained a wide variety of experience including tax, audit, and general accounting. Judy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati, and enjoys getting involved in projects that benefit her local community. Judy enjoys spending the summer months camping near the lake with her husband Greg and three daughters Madalie, Maliea, and Marlize.
Rudy, as he goes by, originally joined Linkenheimer in January 2007, and was with us for almost 5 years grooming his assurance services, tax, and consulting skills. In October 2011, he decided to try Private Industry. Eventually, realizing that Private Industry wasn’t for him, Rudy joined Moss Adams LLP, a large regional accounting firm, in May 2013. He was a Manager in their tax department and honed his tax skills specializing in medium to large construction C and S corporations, investment and real estate partnerships and LLCs, fiduciaries, gift taxes, high net worth Individuals, and other various complex tax compliance services. Bringing us full circle, Rudy decided Linkenheimer was his long-term home and decided to join us (again) in August 2015. He graduated from Sonoma State University with Distinction, receiving a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting Degree. Sonoma County is his hometown, but now lives in Mendocino County. Rudy likes to balance work life with farm life: he and his wife own a small dairy goat farm with which they spend most their free time. Rudy also loves spending time with his son and “workisizing” outdoors improving his property. Community –Volunteer Center of Sonoma County Board of Director.
Christi graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting). Practicing in public accounting since early 2001, she enjoys the team aspect that comes from developing close relationships with her clients. Christi has extensive experience in audit, accounting and consulting services; oversees the administration of Linkenheimer’s audit and accounting practice; and serves as part of Linkenheimer’s internal quality control committee. She has direct experience in the manufacturing, retail, wine, real estate, nonprofit, and professional services industries. Christi is a member of various professional organizations including the AICPA and California Society of CPAs. She enjoys spending time with her husband Juan and sons Matteo and Roman, and they can usually be found mountain biking, going to Giants ball games, and BBQ’ing with family and friends. Christi also enjoys reading, yoga and meditation. Community- Steering Committee Member of Leadership Santa Rosa, active parent volunteer at Windsor Christian Academy Preschool and Cali Calmecac Language Academy.
Nina joined Linkenheimer in June 2016. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Management. As a CMA (Certified Management Accountant), she has worked with numerous individual and business clients in management accounting and controllership, strategic planning and execution, process and performance optimization, and more. She especially has a passion for working with small- and medium-sized local businesses to help them stay on a sound financial and operational track. Nina enjoys spending her spare time training and competing in CrossFit and weightlifting, creating charcoal art, cooking up a storm, and traveling with her husband, Maks, and their two dogs.
He practices in tax, and auditing and accounting, and works on many of Linkenheimer’s consulting engagements. Whether it is working with clients to prepare their individual tax returns, or helping business owners with their cash flow, forecasting, or general business advice, he tries to build short and long-term strategies to meet his clients’financial and personal needs while minimizing their tax exposure. Matt enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Cherie, son, Anthony, daughter Gianna and friends. In the summer months, you will often find them at the lake or on the Town Green in Windsor. During the winter months he tries to make as many trips to Truckee as he can to visit family and enjoy the snow.
Chris is the Marketing and IT Director for the firm. He joined in Linkenheimer in 2001 after graduating from Chico State University with a Degree in International Marketing. In between overseeing the daily IT operations at the firm, he works with the staff to develop a team based, office culture that values individual employees and their contributions to the group. When not working on developing the company brand and story he has worked with the team to build a practice development program that has seen positive results over the years. In his spare time, he enjoys taking part in cooking competitions, traveling with his wife Jennifer, sons Sawyer and Max and spending time outdoors. Community- He is a volunteer at Kid Street, the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Marketing Chair and board member for the Elsie Allen High School Foundation and LSR Class 33.
Anya graduated from Sonoma State University in December 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She has been working in public accounting since 2007 and has experience working in tax, audit, review, and compilation engagements. She was born and raised in Ukraine, moved to the United States in 1998. She enjoys participating in different 5-10K events as a running buddy for Girls on a Run and as a participant, including Windsor Green Half Marathon – 10K – 5K, Santa Rosa Marathon, etc. Anya also enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends in Ukraine, hiking, running and spending time with friends and family here in Sonoma County, among many other things. Community- Anya recently joined Santa Rosa West Rotary.
Joelle joined Linkenheimer in January 2011. She graduated from Sonoma State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She volunteers at Fritz and Sbragia wineries during events such as Passport Weekend, Barrel Tasting, and Burning Dam. During the summer she plays on at least two co-ed slow-pitch softball teams. Joelle was born and raised in Geyserville, California. Joelle enjoys reading, volleyball, softball, fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family along with her dogs and cats.

Andy joined the firm in September of 2015 with three years experience in public accounting. After a successful career running his own business, Andy decided to pursue his higher education and studied at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University, where he graduated in May of 2013 with both a degree in Business Administration – Accounting and Economics. He uses this dual training, as well as his previous small business experience, to provide a unique approach to tax and consulting projects that emphasis’s understanding the industry structure and incentives within which a business operates. A recent resident of Ukiah, he enjoys the rural beauty and open spaces of Mendocino County. Andy enjoys volunteering at his children’s Santa Rosa United soccer teams and is active in their public school education.
Jennifer joined Linkenheimer as an intern in February 2013 and was hired on full time after she graduated from Sonoma State University in 2014 with B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Jennifer was raised in Windsor and is now raising her daughter’s Maddison and Melanie there with her husband Casey. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs Moxie and Willow.
Buffi is our controller and firm administrator. She earned her MBA from UC Davis in 2006, and came to us in late 2008 after working for two years for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company as a Senior Financial Analyst in the accounting department. Buffi is a mom to a beautiful daughter and wife to a wonderful husband. Her interests include reading classic novels, cooking anything and everything from scratch, and traveling.
Kari joined the firm in 2011, coming from a background in sales and marketing in the food industry. Her experience in working with people and developing organizational systems has proven invaluable for Linkenheimer. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring all that Sonoma County has to offer.
Leslie joined Linkenheimer in 2006 after working many years as a substitute teacher for Santa Rosa City Schools. She thoroughly enjoys her roll here supporting this bright, dedicated team. Leslie comes from a large extended family, has five grown children and two grandchildren, and enjoys visiting her clan whenever possible.
