  Mediation Services

Steve Miksis, the Audit and Litigation Services Manager, is also a trained mediator. Since 1996, he has completed 64 hours of training in workplace conflict and commercial dispute resolution. Steve uses a cooperative model for addressing conflict. This approach encourages the parties to fully participate in crafting an agreement to resolve their dispute. It also recognizes the importance of the continued relationship of the parties.

Steve’s mediation experience ranges from large corporate department conflicts to family owned businesses with succession planning issues. In addition, he has been a practicing CPA for 15 years. Moreover, Steve’s unique perspective in construction conflicts is a positive consequence of his prior experience as a Licensed General Building Contractor.

Steve has been a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association’s Fee Arbitration Panel for the past 4 years and recently was appointed to the Sonoma County Superior Court Mediation Panel.
