NICARAGUA EYE CARE PROJECT
Inspired by the previous eye care projects of John
Jones; Linkenheimer employees, family and friends left
San Francisco International Airport January 4th for a 4
day eye care project on the San Juan River. During our
trip we saw over 600 patients and were able to give out
over 500 pairs of glasses. One group that is constantly
trying to improve the way of life for the people down
there is the San Juan Rio Relief. They work to provide
necessities such as medical care, toothbrushes and eye
glasses to those who can't afford them and don't have
access to them. To check out their site, you can

pictures from our trip.
