Some of my highlights

My favorite projects involve working with closely held businesses and finding new ways to provide value through our services. Frequently when we work with new clients we are able to give them insight on tax savings opportunities such as cost segregation and tax credits. One of the most gratifying parts of my job is educating business owners on these opportunities and helping them increase their cash flow through tax savings and incentives.

From a professional standpoint, my highest accomplishment so far has definitely been becoming a partner at Linkenheimer. I am completely honored to be part of such a dynamic, caring, intelligent, hard-working team.
Personally, my greatest accomplishment has been raising my three children Natalie, Jackson, & Alia with my husband Jorge. As a parent it is incredible to see them grow and all develop their own distinct personalities and traits. Nothing is more gratifying than hearing them laugh or seeing them smile.
I typically begin by learning about a client’s business and discussing their needs. Many times a prospective client may come in just looking for a new tax preparer and our discussion will lead to them determining that they may benefit from additional services such as tax credit analysis, tax planning for the sale of property, cash flow projections for expansion, or revisions to their inventory costing system. My goal at the end of the day is to not just provide our clients with completed tax forms, but to advise them of opportunities that allow them to make the most out of what is already available to them based on current tax law. Once I identify the specific projects that are required, I put together a team of our staff that will best suit the client’s needs. We like our clients’ to have multiple resources at the firm to ensure their needs are met both timely and cost effectively.
Although I am not a soccer player myself, much of my free time is spent on the soccer field. With two out of three of my children playing on competitive soccer teams (and the third to follow on a recreational team this fall), many of my weekends and weeknights are spent on the sidelines watching their games. I love seeing their dedication to the game, and seeing them strive to achieve their own goals.
Although I can’t quite call myself a golfer yet, I enjoy spending time with my husband on the golf course and am trying to make an effort to become a better golfer. I also enjoy cooking and baking, so it is pretty typical for friends and family to gather at my house for a meal and to watch a football game or play cards.
Linkenheimer is truly different than most CPA firms. Our firm values are demonstrated by all employees throughout the organization, and each employee is respected and appreciated for their individual strengths. As a CPA firm, by default we spend a lot of time together in what can be a high stress environment, but even on the night before a tax deadline our team members will have smiles on their faces and you will hear laughter throughout the office. As a (busy) working mom, I also appreciate that the firm is dedicating to making family a priority and gives parents flexibility in their schedules.

Here’s Some of The Good Stuff that We’ve Done Together.

Yes that’s right, we enjoy working together, serving the community together, and hanging out together! We’re a different kind of CPA firm.
