Judy Deniz

Judy joined Linkenheimer in January 2013. She graduated from Sonoma State University in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.  Working in public accounting since late 2005, she has gained a wide variety of experience including tax, audit, and general accounting.  Judy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the Rotary Club of Rohnert Park-Cotati, and enjoys getting involved in projects that benefit her local community.  Judy enjoys spending the summer months camping near the lake with her husband Greg and three daughters Madalie, Maliea, and Marlize.
Kerri Berry

Kerri joined Linkenheimer in November 2014 as a manager with 10 years of public accounting experience.  She graduated in 2004 from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.  Kerri has experience in tax, audit and accounting services for both for profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of industries.  She enjoys working with clients in the construction and real estate industries, and closely held businesses, large groups of related entities and individuals on their tax and accounting needs.  Kerri is a member of the AICPA and the Cal Society of CPA’s.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Andy and children, Claire and Dylan.  Community – Treasurer for Alexander Valley Girl Scouts Troop #10085, active parent volunteer at Alexander Valley School.
Christi Valencia

Christi graduated from Sonoma State University with a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting). Practicing in public accounting since early 2001, she enjoys the team aspect that comes from developing close relationships with her clients. Christi has extensive experience in audit, accounting and consulting services; oversees the administration of Linkenheimer’s audit and accounting practice; and serves as part of Linkenheimer’s internal quality control committee. She has direct experience in the manufacturing, retail, wine, real estate, nonprofit, and professional services industries. Christi is a member of various professional organizations including the AICPA and California Society of CPAs. She enjoys spending time with her husband Juan and sons Matteo and Roman, and they can usually be found mountain biking, going to Giants ball games, and BBQ’ing with family and friends. Christi also enjoys reading, yoga and meditation. Community- Active parent volunteer at Cali Calmecac Language Academy.
Gino Scurini

Gino joined Linkenheimer in August 2017 as a manager with 12 years of public accounting experience. Gino has experience in tax, audit and accounting services for a variety of industries, including wineries and vineyards, retail and distribution, manufacturing, and employee benefit plans. He graduated in 2005 from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Gino is a lifelong learner and is in process of earning his MBA. He is a member of the AICPA and the Cal Society of CPA’s. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Rosey and children, Louis and Theo. He enjoys getting out doors to spend time camping, fishing, gardening, hiking, playing with his children and home brewing beer.
Chris Jones
Chris Jones
Chris is the Marketing and IT Director for the firm. He joined in Linkenheimer in 2001 after graduating from Chico State University with a Degree in International Marketing. In between overseeing the daily IT operations at the firm, he works with the staff to develop a team based, office culture that values individual employees and their contributions to the group. When not working on developing the company brand and story he has worked with the team to build a practice development program that has seen positive results over the years. In his spare time, he enjoys taking part in cooking competitions, traveling with his wife Jennifer, sons Sawyer and Max and spending time outdoors. Community- He is  a volunteer at Kid Street, the Redwood Empire Food Bank, Marketing Chair and board member for the Elsie Allen High School Foundation and LSR Class 33.
Anya Cunningham

Anya graduated from Sonoma State University in December 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She has been working in public accounting since 2007 and has experience working in tax, audit, review, and compilation engagements. She was born and raised in Ukraine, moved to the United States in 1998.  She enjoys participating in different 5-10K events as a running buddy for Girls on a Run and as a participant, including Windsor Green Half Marathon – 10K – 5K, Santa Rosa Marathon,  etc. Anya also enjoys traveling, visiting family and friends in Ukraine, hiking, running and spending time with friends and family here in Sonoma County, among many other things. Community- Anya recently joined Santa Rosa West Rotary.
Nina Shaposhnikov
Nina Shaposhnikov
Nina joined Linkenheimer in June 2016. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Business Management. As a CMA (Certified Management Accountant), she has worked with numerous individual and business clients in management accounting and controllership, strategic planning and execution, process and performance optimization, and more. She especially has a passion for working with small- and medium-sized local businesses to help them stay on a sound financial and operational track. Nina enjoys spending her spare time training in weightlifting, creating charcoal art, cooking up a storm, and traveling.
Jan Coulter
Jan Coulter
After mini-careers in woodcarving/furniture building and massage therapy, Jan returned to SRJC as a re-entry student in bookkeeping. She graduated from Sonoma State University in 1998, with a BS in Business Administration, concentration in accounting. She pursued public accounting, working in two local firms but found tax season a bit grueling while being a single parent to her daughter, Kyla. She then went to work for Sonoma State University as a Business Manager of the Anthropological Studies Center, retiring after 11 years. In 2014 she returned to public accounting and landed with Linkenheimer in 2017. In their spare time, she and her husband Andy support a small school in Thailand, teaching young men and women from Burma. Their support also includes the opportunity to travel there and teach in the school for a month at a time.
Joshua Warren
Joshua WarrenCPA
Josh graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a B.S. in Business Administration (concentration in Accounting) and joined Linkenheimer as a tax-season intern in 2012. After that he developed his career with other public accounting firms, specializing in preparing tax returns for small business entities, and becoming a Certified Public Accountant. He got the opportunity to return to Linkenheimer full time in January 2019. Josh enjoys cooking, gaming, and singing in the choir and praise team at his church. He also serves on the church’s Board of Youth, and gets to hang out with the teens and encourage their spiritual growth.
Joelle Smith
Joelle Smith
Joelle joined Linkenheimer in January 2011.  She graduated from Sonoma State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She volunteers at Fritz and Sbragia wineries during events such as Passport Weekend, Barrel Tasting, and Burning Dam. During the summer she plays on at least two co-ed slow-pitch softball teams. Joelle was born and raised in Geyserville, California.  Joelle enjoys reading, volleyball, softball, fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family along with her dogs and cats.

Jennifer joined Linkenheimer as an intern in February 2013. She was hired on full time after she graduated from Sonoma State University in 2014 with B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Jennifer was raised in Windsor and is now raising her three daughter’s there with her husband Casey. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs Moxie and Willow.
Andy Vedder

Andy joined the firm in September of 2015 with three years experience in public accounting. After a successful career running his own business, Andy decided to pursue his higher education and studied at Santa Rosa Junior College and Sonoma State University, where he graduated in May of 2013 with both a degree in Business Administration – Accounting and Economics. He uses this dual training, as well as his previous small business experience, to provide a unique approach to tax and consulting projects that emphasis’s understanding the industry structure and incentives within which a business operates. A recent resident of Ukiah, he enjoys the rural beauty and open spaces of Mendocino County. Andy enjoys volunteering at his children’s Santa Rosa United soccer teams and is active in their public school education.

Natallie joined Linkenheimer in June 2019 with a longstanding history in Controllership and Operations. Having an analytical mindset has provided her with opportunities to manage various projects focused on enhancing the productivity and profitability in small to mid-sized businesses. She has always been intrigued by the details which leads into one of her favorite passions, photography. She admires the talent of photographers and she never misses a moment to capture images of her own adventures. With her roots in Hawaii, she, her husband and two boys travel to Kona frequently to spend time with their family and enjoy the island life.

 Leslie joined Linkenheimer in 2006 after working many years as a substitute teacher for Santa Rosa City Schools. She thoroughly enjoys her roll  here supporting this bright, dedicated team. Leslie comes from a large extended family, has five grown children and two grandchildren, and enjoys visiting her clan whenever possible.

Kari joined the firm in 2011, coming from a background in sales and marketing in the food industry. Her experience in working with people and developing organizational systems has proven invaluable for Linkenheimer. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring all that Sonoma County has to offer.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, Ca. Went to the Santa Rosa Junior College and earned my Bachelors of Science with concentration in Accounting and Financial Management from Sonoma State University in 2016. Prior to Linkenheimer I worked as a payroll clerk for a non-profit health care facility. I have had a variety of jobs including being a mentor for a 6th grade after-school program, being an administrator for a landscape construction company. My hobbies include playing indoor and outdoor soccer and spending time with friends and family.

Originally from southern CA Dana earned a bachelor’s degree in Administrative Systems from California State University Long Beach and then earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. Prior to Linkenheimer Dana held the position of controller in service, agriculture, and manufacturing industries operating in both wholesale and retail environments. Dana has also performed and managed various aspects of IT. Dana is excited to apply his knowledge and experience to help clients succeed. While not working Dana enjoys spending time with his family. He keeps busy with daily bible study, reading about creation, doing yard work, plumbing, electrical, and woodworking.
Rodrigo Nunez
Rodrigo Nunez
Originally from Michoacán, Mexico, Rodrigo moved to California in 2000. He took his first English class at the Santa Rosa Junior College in 2003. Soon after picking up the English language skills he turned to pursuing a professional career. Several years down the road while taking his first calculous exam at SRJC, he decided to change his plans about pursuing a career to become a mathematician and instead decided on a career in public accounting . During his academic years Rodrigo worked full time as a Restaurant General Manager to support his studies and his family. Rodrigo joined Linkenheimer as a tax intern in November 2017. After graduating from Sonoma State University in December 2017, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting he became a full time associate. When not studying for the CPA exam, Rodrigo enjoys spending time with his wife Norma, sons Rodrigo Jr, Joaquin and daughter Valeria in any outdoor activities or family gatherings in Sonoma County.
Mike Hall

Mike Joined Linkenheimer in January 2019. He graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2002 with an MBA, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1991 from Crown College. Mike has spent most of his career in the investment management industry working in large brokerage firms and independent investment advisory firms. He spent three years working in public accounting prior to joining Linkenheimer. Mike has also worked in various finance and accounting roles in companies and non-profit organizations here in Sonoma County. He has served on several non-profit boards and is currently on the board of trustees at his church. Mike is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Consultant. He is married with four children and in his spare time he enjoys a variety of sports and outdoor activities with his family.
Charla Balkin

Originally from Ohio, Charla moved to Santa Rosa in 2007 and joined the Linkenheimer team in May 2019. She has a strong background in customer service and office administration, and looks forward to applying those strengths with our team. Prior to Linkenheimer she worked for a local non-profit surgery center. Charla is the proud mother of four, and can always be found near a basketball court cheering them on. In her spare time she and her husband enjoy exploring beautiful Sonoma County.
Samantha Shelley
Samantha Shelley
Born and raised in Sonoma County California, Samantha began as an intern at Linkenheimer in January 2019. Samantha will be graduating with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting and financial management from Sonoma State University in December of 2019 and will begin full-time at Linkenheimer in January 2020. Samantha is currently president of the Accounting Forum at Sonoma State University. You will find Samantha around Sonoma County watching soccer games, going out to eat, and working out at the gym.
