Firm Retreat and Wine Tasting at Bricoluer Vineyards
The Linkenheimer team enjoyed a beautiful day out at Bricoluer Vineyards for our annual firm retreat. The weather, food and wine was amazing, as was the hospitality from the team at Bricoluer. It was the perfect way to cap off the few remaining days of summer. We are all looking forward to another visit there soon.
Firm Nicaragua Trip 2020
In January of 2020. our team spent one week in the rural San Juan region of Nicaragua. They provided eye care testing, along with glasses and other healthcare items for those in the area who otherwise wouldn't receive services. The team also visited the new regional surgery center, which Linkenheimer and Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary were instrumental in funding and building.

Linkenheimer’s 35th Annual Golf Tournament 2014
We'd like to thank everyone who spent the day with us on the course again this year. It's the people that make this event a success. At Linkenheimer, we've always said People are our greatest asset. And that statement doesn't just apply to our employees and staff. It includes our clients, family and friends. They all make up the driving force behind our firm. This tournament is our way of saying THANK YOU for your relationship with us and your support along the way. We look forward to seeing everyone out there on the course again next year!
Firm Nicaragua Trip 2014 Video

Fly Fishing 2013
As a firm, we were looking to do something different than a standard "retreat" or team building exercise. Managing partner, John Jones, found a gem in the Clearwater Lodge. This was the trip that started an absolute love of fishing and the lodge and people itself.
Fly Fishing 2014
One of the firms favorite team building trips has always been our annual fly fishing excursions up to the Pit River and the Clearwater Lodge.
Nicaragua Firm Trip 2014
It wasn’t just beaches and mai tai’s for the Linkenheimer team and their families as they spent over a week in beautiful Nicaragua. Continuing a tradition of service in the region, John Jones led two different groups from Linkenheimer down the rural region of the Rio San Juan, with the goal of delivering eye exams and prescription glasses which would have otherwise have been unattainable. Linkenheimer traditionally enjoys a team vacation in January as a thank you for a job well done and a bonding experience before the trials of a busy tax season. This year, the team building was magnified with the opportunity of “going down the river”. A typical “going down the river” experience usually entails: Flying into Managua; chartering a small, 16 seat plane which flies you over Lake Nicaragua (the 10th largest fresh water lake in the world), landing on the dirt “runway” in San Carlos; from there you are shuttled in trucks to the river front, where the team boards long boats, which make their way down the winding river until they reach the serene, yet primitive Sabalos Lodge. Then the real adventure begins. The team then travels by boat to the village, where they setup their operations in a school building. From there they provide eye exams, determine the prescription and then provide the necessary eye glasses and then fit them. During the mission in Sabalos the teams examined 898 patients and distributed 765 pair of prescription eye glasses and 524 pair of sunglasses all for free. The sunglasses are key in helping prevent cataracts, which they also screen for. Cataracts are quite common in the region due to the daily sun exposure over the course of a [...]

Linkenheimer’s 34th Annual Golf Tournament 2013
Over 110 clients, family and friends joined us for the 34th Annual Linkenheimer & JDH Golf Tournament at the Oakmont Golf Club. The success and attendance of the event is a direct reflection of how many great people show up to play every year. We’ve always said the people are what makes us different at Linkenheimer. Those people include our clients, staff and the families who support us. Each one is a pillar in the creation of a unique workplace, where our staff is in it for the “long haul”, and dedicated to providing our clients outstanding service. Our annual tournament is our way of saying “thank you” to all of you. We are looking forward to next year’s tournament and the growth of relationships that develop along the way.
