We are incredibly honored to announce that Linkenheimer LLP has once again been named one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. This marks our 14th time receiving this recognition, and we are deeply grateful for it. Since our founding in 1932, we have believed a firm is only as strong as its people, and this particular award is decided by exactly those people. Our own team.
The defining chapter of our year came in May, when a team from Linkenheimer spent eight days in El Salvador continuing the eye care mission that has been part of this firm for nearly two decades. Working in the coffee-growing highlands outside Ataco, our team tested more than 1,500 patients and dispensed 1,500 pairs of prescription eyeglasses alongside People Helping People Network. What stays with us is not the count. It is the elderly man who could suddenly see his grandchildren’s faces clearly for the first time in decades. Our people came home changed by it.
Closer to home, we gathered at Oracle Park in San Francisco for a team retreat and a Giants game, a reminder that the time we spend together outside of busy season is part of what carries us through it.
None of this happens without our clients and our community. For more than nine decades, the North Bay has trusted us with its most important financial decisions, and that trust is what allows us to keep investing in our people and what makes missions like El Salvador possible.
