Linkenheimer LLP is proud to announce the promotion of Anya Cunningham to Partner. Since launching her public‑accounting career in 2007 and joining our firm in 2012, Anya has guided closely held businesses in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, distribution, and professional services through critical moments—business transitions, capital planning, financial modeling, and succession strategy. A co‑founder of the North Bay Trusted Business Academy, she is passionate about equipping entrepreneurs with holistic education and advisory support. Looking ahead, Anya sees AI and automation “taking over more routine compliance work,” freeing CPAs to deliver the real‑time insights and proactive planning clients will demand over the next five years.

Anya’s “secret sauce” is intentional listening: understanding each client’s goals, pressures, and aspirations before diving into technical solutions. Congratulations to Carli on being selected as one of the Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 business professionals

Carli was granted partner status in July 2015 at the age of 32 at Linkenheimer, becoming the 2nd youngest partner in firm history and the first woman partner. She has been instrumental in the growth and direction of the firm. She provides a unique, professional perspective to clients , leadership and mentoring to our younger staff and a commitment to serving the community and a variety of non-profits. She makes everyone inside the firm a priority, realizing that our people are our strength. Focusing on not just their professional growth, but caring about each one of their unique situations. She is well deserving of the 40 Under 40 recognition.

Her activities in the community include- Secretary for Santa Rosa South Soccer Club, Treasurer for Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council, and Volunteer Coordinator for the Bennett Valley Alliance of Parents and Teachers.

Linkenheimer Introduces Its Newest Partner- Carli Ortiz

Linkenheimer is proud to introduce our newest partner, Carli Ortiz. Carli has been with the firm for four years and has brought a wealth of experience and energy to the Linkenheimer culture. She is also the firm’s first female partner. Carli joined Linkenheimer in November 2011 as one of the firm’s tax managers. She is a CPA licensed in California, and has been practicing in public accounting since graduating from Sonoma State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management.

Carli specializes in family owned businesses, individual taxation, estate and trust taxation and planning, tax credits and incentives, and general business accounting services such as inventory costing and set-up of accounting systems. She enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal level and strives to develop lasting relationships with them as they work together to creatively solve problems.

In her spare time, Carli enjoys spending time with her three children and her husband, Jorge. They keep her busy with competitive soccer, basketball, and baseball and on weekends you can usually find her on the sidelines of a game.
